Chris Coffey

Managing Director

In addition to managing THE in GROUP, Chris is responsible for designing campaigns and developing new initiatives. Chris is also the specialist for healthcare brands and communications and takes an active role in ensuring our brand ambassadors have a high level of sales training.

Prior to setting up InWaiting (now THE in GROUP) Chris held senior marketing and advertising roles with Grey Global Group, Microsoft and GlaxoSmithKline.

Hannah Burns

Senior Campaign Director

Hannah is the person who makes the great ideas happen. Hannah has exceptional skills in logistics and project management, and her attention to detail is second to none.

Hannah has a background in event management and experiential marketing.

Ashleigh Snell

Campaign Manager

Ashleigh not only manages the Distribution Centre of THE in GROUP, she also coordinates all campaigns and is the primary liaison for all promotional sites. 

Ashleigh has completed a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Arts at The University of Auckland. Her previous employment with Progressive Enterprises has given her a good understanding of the FMCG retail environment. This has been very helpful when working on in-store campaigns.

Shaimaa Ali

Junior Campaign Manager

Shaimaa completed a Bachelor of Business degree at AUT with a double major in Marketing & International Business. 

As our Junior Campaign Manager, Shaimaa sees that campaigns are coordinated & executed in the most effective manner from start to finish, in order to deliver the best results.

 

Edith Fumarola

Talent Manager

Edith is our Talent Manager, she is responsible for recruiting, engaging and managing our pool of casual staff.  

She has completed a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Science in Human Genetics in South Africa and comes with a lot of experience in sales from previous employment. Edith regularly runs sales training programmes with the Brand Ambassador team to help them unlock their potential.

Sophie Maddern

inStore Manager

Sophie is responsible for scheduling and managing the inStore demonstrations. Liaising between stores, client Territory Managers and internal Campaign and Talent teams to ensure execution of demos go to plan.

Originally from Britain, Sophie studied a bachelor’s degree in journalism before travelling the world and settling in NZ. She has over 9 years of experience in promotional marketing and sales, working as a Brand Ambassador, Territory Manager and Business Development Executive.

Brit Hanchett

Warehouse Manager

Brit manages THE in GROUP's warehouse. Her thorough work ethic and can-do attitude have proven to be the perfect combination for the variety of demo kits and production work she has to tackle. 

Brit has also worked as a Brand Ambassador on many campaigns for THE in GROUP over the years and also provides campaign support.
