The Brief

Get a large number of mid-high socio women trying the new fruit and green teas.

The Solution

A sampling and advertising campaign in 440 mid-high socio hair salons.

The Rollout

Salons displayed two international fashion magazines with front cover advertising and menu cards featuring the new teas on hair stations.

Stylists were encouraged to trial the teas and offer the tea to clients.

Talking points were supplied to stylists to promote the samples to their clients.

The Results

  • Over one month 92,400 cups of tea were given out in the salons.
  • An estimated 220,000 people in the salons saw the advertising campaign.
  • Feedback was overwhelmingly positive with 81% of salons buying replacement stock once the campaign had ended.
  • Sales increased by 3.3 share points over this period.
