The Brief

To drive awareness, trial and purchase in supermarkets of the new European bruschetta snack food by Ital Food – Bruschette Maretti. A key objective was to build demand from supermarkets for this product.

The Solution

3 waves of grocery demonstrations were undertaken over 5 months. A total of 314 tasting sessions were completed in targeted Countdown and Foodstuffs stores.

The Rollout

Impactful branded stands, uniforms and props were created to maximise impact and branding.

Detailed brand and sales trainings were conducted with the Maretti Brand Ambassador team to maximise in store sales and branding during the tasting sessions.

The Results

The campaign was highly successful with over 50% sales as a percent of tastings. Strong support was built with both Foodstuffs and Progressive Enterprises chains.
